Isabelle Drischler

I’m Isabelle Drischler, a graphic designer from Charlotte, NC with a focus on web design, branding, and editorial work. I’m always pushing myself to try new things. Whether it’s exploring different mediums, stepping into project management, or volunteering for new challenges, I bring a detail-oriented, hands on approach to everything I do.

In my design work, I’m always thinking about how people will interact with what I create. It’s not just about making something look good, but making sure it feels right and works for the people using it. You have to understand the problem before you can design the solution.

When I’m not at my desk, you can probably find me rollerskating in parking lots, making something with my hands, or getting way too invested in a new video game.

IN PLAIN SIGHT

When no one sees it, no one sees you. In Plain Sight is a book about invisible illnesses. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and it can be really challenging. It’s even harder when nobody around me can see how I’m struggling. A lack of awareness and empathy leads to misunderstanding and judgement. By sharing my experience through this book, I hope to educate those without these disabilities and validate those who
share them.
